GEIGER “NatureWalk" Fabric

• Optimal climate comfort  The thousands of small air chambers trapped in the wool during felting keep the temperature in a Walk jacket almost constant.
  
  
• Water repellent Due to the overlapping shingle structure of the fiber surface which works like roof-tiles, and the natural oil of the sheep’s wool fiber. This makes Walk naturally stain resistant.
  
  
• Easy care Just hang the Walk garment outside overnight in a sheltered spot and your jacket will be fresh and ready to go.
  
  
• Elasticity Sheep wool has a built in high elasticity and recovery rate. This minimizes wrinkling of the fabric.
  
  
• Chemical free The “Walk” process, innovated by GEIGER, is performed without the use of harsh chemicals. Only water, heat and motion are needed to create GEIGER NatureWalk. Our yarn suppliers are obligated to use only biodegradable substances for their processes.
  
  GEIGER chooses not to treat its materials with the toxic chemical “FREON” to prevent pilling, which naturally occurs in fine gage wool garments. Freon has been linked to serious health concerns.

European Workmanship

• Pocket bags are “invisible” due to a blind-stitch finish. A typical GEIGER style element that reduces unwanted bulk.
  
  
• Saddle stitches on seams prevent Walk which add strength to the seam and add a special charm.
  
  
• The inside of the garment is finished with the same care as it is given to the outside.
